2. Secure transfer to substrate using heat tape.
3. Place substrate face up, with attached transfer face down, on top of protective paper on bottom table.
4. Top with protective paper and green rubber pad.
5. Press according to time, temperature, and pressure above.
Application notes: Some (not all) acrylic blanks have a protective paper covering on the sublimatable side. T his must be removed prior to sublimating.
Please use care when cleaning SubliCrylic. Cleaners containing ammonia, such as Windex or 409, will eat into the substrate, c ausing it to craze, and will
permanently harm it. Use only products specifically recommended for cleaning acrylics along with a clean nonabrasive, noncontaminating cloth. Do not use
ketones, aromatics, esters, halogens, window cleaning sprays, alcohol, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents (such as aceto ne, benzene, gasoline,
carbon tetrachloride, or thinners).
If the SubliCrylic becomes scratched, use a car wax or other buffing compound to remove the scratches. Apply the wax and use the supplied buffer until the
scratches are removed. Always keep in mind to avoid the coated imaging area of the SubliCrylic while cleaning it. There should be no need to ever wipe,
buff or clean here. Contact with this area of the product could damage the image.
Use only light pressure when cleaning. Never use a dry cloth or your hand to clean your SubliCrylic! T his rubs the dirt and dust into the acrylic as much as it
rubs it off. First, blow the dust or dirt off, or use water and a soft cloth to float the dirt off. The best cleaner of all i s a mild solution of dish detergent and
warm water. Just be sure to turn the cloth often and replace with a clean cloth frequently. Dry by blotting gently with a clean, dry cloth.
If you really want to investigate a chemical cleaner, there are numerous resources for your reference on the Internet for your own personal evaluation. We
have found the above steps to be of the best integrity in maintaining the life of SubliCrylic while keeping it clean and pres entable.
Note: To prevent your SubliCrylic from warping, after printing cool the block printed side face down on a cool surf ace topped with a heavy flat object.
To change clock batteries: Peel back seal, pop out old battery with small pointed tool. Use standard clock battery (376, 377, SR66, SG4, GP77, or S626, available
