3. Place Ceramic Mug in Mug Press and close the heating element around the mug.
4. Press according to time, temperature, and pressure above.
5. Remove any paper residue with a soft wet cloth or dish sponge.
Application notes: Place heat tape on the transfer edges closest to the handle that does not have sublimation ink on it after you have aligned the image on the mug. Use heat tape to attach the transfer to the mug taking care not to cover any of the imaging area.
Oven Instructions
Instructions for Using an Oven and DyeWrap
1. Secure transfer to the stein using Heat Tape.
2. Wrap the stein with protective paper. Portions of the stein that come into direct contact with the DYEWRAP will yellow. Take care to smooth any and all wrinkles.
3. Secure the DYEWRAP around the stein. Tighten DYEWRAP to finger tight, then give it two more turns using a common wrench.
4. Place into oven and set dwell time to 15 minutes.
Application notes: Be careful not to use too much pressure, it can wrinkle your transfer - use a protective cover sheet but do not reuse that sheet, it will have ink on it after one use.
Place the base of the stein in the oven closest to the heat source.
Be sure to wrap the entire area of the substrate with protective paper, there will be a discoloration of the substrate should the wrap come into contact.
Use a fan to cool ceramic mugs or the A6000 Kool Plate. Do not dunk mugs in water. Remove transfer after mug has cooled.
Remove any paper residue with a soft wet cloth or sponge.
