Heat Press Method Instructions

1. Print the transfer.

2. Place a piece of protective paper on the press.

3. Remove any dirt or loose carpet fibers from the mat.

4. Place mat on top of protective paper with the rubber side facing down and the imaging side facing up.

5) Apply image to be transferred face down on top of mat.

6. Cover with protective paper.

7. Press with Temp/Time/Pressure settings listed above.

8. Once transfer is complete, gently pick the mat up by the butcher paper corners keeping the mat at flat as possible and lay on a surface to cool (floor, table, counter, etc.). Do not remove the mat from the butcher paper until the mat has cooled. If the mat bends or folds before it is properly cooled, the rubber will crack.

Note: Comfort mats are constructed from 50 oz. polyurethane. This material is measured by density per yard, not thickness. Thickness cannot be guaranteed. Even though the thickness may vary, the properties of the 50 oz. polyurethane remains the same and offers the same amount of “comfort”.

These mats should not be placed into a clothes washer or dryer. They should be washed using a scrub brush and bleach-free laundry detergent, rinsed and line dried. We recommend spray on carpet cleaner used according to the directions on the can.

OUR INSTRUCTIONS ARE BASED ON USING A DK20S, DK3110 AND/OR A COUNTER TOP CONVECTION OVEN. TIMES AND TEMPERATURES WILL VARY DEPENDING ON WHICH EQUIPMENT YOU USE.
