Heat Press Method Instructions

Substrate face-down

1. Place protective paper on the bottom of the press.

2. Remove the plastic peel coating from the metal – this is the imaging side.

3. Adhere the transfer to the metal using DyeTrans Adhesive Spray or heat tape.

4. Place the substrate face down, transfer face-up, onto the protective paper covering the bottom of the press.

5)Press.

6. Remove the transfer from the metal being sure not to touch the imaging area while hot.

Note that when using LaserSub, you only transfer the portion of the image that will not be cut by the laser. This product is compatible with laser engravers only.

If you should see small watermarks after imaging, try using less pressure. Another method is to press it before removing the peel coat, the image will transfer through the plastic without the watermarks.
